Statement of Faith

The Triune God

We believe in one true and living God, eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son (the Word), and God the Holy Spirit. These three are one in essence, equal in power and glory, and together reveal God’s love, holiness, and redemptive purpose for humanity. God is the Creator of all things, seen and unseen, and He sustains all creation by His power and will.
(1 John 5:7; Genesis 1:1; Colossians 1:16–17)

Jesus Christ

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and lived a sinless life. He was crucified, willingly laying down His life for our sins; He died, was buried, and on the third day rose bodily from the dead. He then ascended into heaven, where He is now seated at the right hand of God the Father, interceding for believers. Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, the only Savior and the perfect revelation of God to humanity.
(Matthew 1:20–21; John 3:16; Acts 4:10; 1 Timothy 3:16; Hebrews 10:12)

The Holy Scriptures

We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired Word of God, given by divine inspiration through human authors. Scripture is truth without error in its original writings and is the final authority for faith, life, and conduct. Through the Word of God, we come to know God, His will, and His plan for redemption.
(2 Timothy 3:16; Psalm 119:105)

Salvation

We believe that salvation is a gift of God, made possible solely through the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross. Every person is saved by grace through faith, not by works, and must experience personal repentance and new birth through the work of the Holy Spirit. Salvation restores our relationship with God and grants eternal life to all who believe.
(John 3:1–5; Ephesians 2:8–9; Ephesians 3:17)

Sanctification and Holy Living

We believe in sanctification, the ongoing work of God in the life of a believer, accomplished through the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit. As followers of Christ, we are called to live lives that reflect His character, pursuing personal holiness, purity of heart, and obedience to God. This transformation happens through daily surrender to God’s grace.
(Hebrews 12:14; Romans 12:1–2)

Marriage and God’s Moral Design

We believe that God has established marriage as a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed for companionship, mutual support, and the foundation of family life. We affirm the moral principles outlined in God’s Word and seek to uphold them with both truth and grace.
(Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4–6)

The Return of Christ

We believe in the blessed hope of the Church—the soon, personal, and bodily return of the Lord Jesus Christ. He will return to fulfill God’s redemptive plan, resurrect the dead in Christ, and establish His eternal kingdom. This hope inspires believers to live faithfully, purposefully, and expectantly.
(John 6:39; Acts 1:11; Titus 2:13)

Unity, Liberty, and Love

Finally, we embrace this guiding posture of faith and fellowship:

“In essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; and in all things, charity (love).”

We believe that unity in the core truths of the Christian faith is vital, that freedom in non-essential matters should be respected, and that love must govern all we say and do.

In essentials — UNITY
In non-essentials — LIBERTY
In all things — CHARITY / LOVE
